Risotto

Although most of us think of rice and risotto as side dishes, these grains can be a main course when you add delicious protein and vegetables as in Paella, seafood risotto, Calamari Ink Rice, Arroz con Pollo, or when you serve risotto alongside a salad. Even our Tropical Rice Salad with avocado and papaya in a Mista Dressing makes a great main course lunch or a novelty side dish. Although sometimes we just want sticky rice, rice dishes can be especially good when made with vegetables to give it the taste and freshness of veggies, even if you just sauté some onions and garlic and then add the rice and water, rice takes another flavorful dimension.
